Jane Austen Knits Scarf

Remember this beautiful magazine from last fall?

Jane Austen Knits was so popular that Interweave ran a second printing!
All of the projects in this special issue are gorgeous!

The ruffled scarf on the front cover is created with short-rows using a lace weight yarn, but we decided to use our fingering weight Regia Hand-Dye Effect because of the subtle color shifting.

Sarah knit the scarf on a US 2 rather than the US 1 since we used a heavier yarn than the pattern calls for and the end result is beautiful!

Regia Hand-Dye Effect is in stock here at Firefly Fibers and we have a few copies of Jane Austen Knits left from our second shipment.
The single scarf pattern is also available for download here courtesy of Interweave's Spinning Daily.

Visit us at the shop to see the shop sample and select your Hand-Dye Effect color to get started on your scarf!

Happy Knitting!
